Town Ordinance requires all dogs to have a current rabies vaccination and be licensed with Town of Vernon, regardless of indoor or outdoor dogs. Licenses shall not be issued for any dog unless satisfactory proof of rabies vaccination (certificate or copy of certificate) is provided.

Fees (before March 1st):
PLEASE NOTE: Fees double if not paid by March 1st

• Altered Dogs (spayed/neutered) : $7.50
• Unaltered Dogs: $15.00

Once the application and payment have been received, the license will be mailed.
